A minimum of 30 IP addresses will be configured during the automatic installation process. You can specify these IP addresses during the Quick Config Setup process.
Networking
- It is recommended that the deployment is done in a VLAN /24 free, with internet connectivity and access to backend resources needed in other networks of the client ( ie to application servers, databases, etc). Stable bandwidth connection is required (3G/4G/5G are not supported)
- LACP is not supported in QCS deployment.
- By default, appliance’s teaming is configure with Switch Independant with Hyper-V port method.
- Connecting 4 network port and check that you have link (light on) on each port before start Factory reset. Factory reset method detect which ports are p (Base-T or SFP+) and configure them.
- The storage network ports must be 10Gb (Base-T or SFP+).
- Management network ports must be configured in access mode untagged.
Internet access
Please note that the infrastructure virtual machines and compute nodes must have Internet access.
To ensure the success of the automatic deployment the Control Panel VM, Computer node01 and node02 must have connectivity without a proxy to:

Allowing access to these resources during the deployment phase is mandatory. If access to the URLs with wildcards (*) cannot be granted due to security policies, the following problems may arise:
- Flexxible IT components and services:
- If URLs including wildcards (*) are not allowed, some features and internal component updates will not be available
- Microsoft components updates:
- If URLs including wildcards (*) are not allowed, some updates would not be available for the infrastructure components. Then, access to a WSUS server with specific configuration will have to be provided by the client
Remote Access requirements
To automatically configure the remote access through NetScaler VPX the following requirements must be met:
- You must provide a valid public domain name
- The provided domain name must point with a DNS A record to a fixed, public IP address that will have NAT rules created to redirect the traffic to the NetScaler Services IP address.
- A firewall or router with a firewall is required to permit remote access through a NAT. A firewall rule must be created to allow access using ports TCP80 and TCP443 from all sources to the NetScaler Services IP address.
DHCP Services
A DHCP Server must be used to automatically provide IP addresses to the XenApp & XenDesktop Virtual Machines. If a DHCP Server does not exist, you can configure a DHCP scope using Quick Config Setup. If no DHCP is available on the network, one will be created automatically if needed. This requires all the information on the IP range being served.
In Full integration deployments this will not enabled because this service is closely related with the DNS and Active Directory of the client. If no DNS is available on the network, one will be created automatically if needed. This requires all the information on the IP range being served.

Datacenter requirements
Rack
Two power cables are needed for each Flexxible|SWS Enterprise Appliance. The required rack space is 2U.
Licences
Flexxible IT only provides the Flexxible|SWS Enterprise Appliance and the Flexxible|SUITE licences. The rest of the required licenses for the platform to run (Microsoft, Citrix…) must be provided by the partner or customer at deployment time.
Flexxible IT is working with distributors in different regions to provide a bundled SKU containing the Appliances and all required licenses. Contact your Flexxible IT sales representative to ask for authorized distributors in your region.
A Microsoft KMS Server must be provided to automatically activate the Windows licenses required for the platform. The customer should provide this server.
Microsoft Office 365 can be automatically deployed to the templates if a valid Microsoft Office 365 license for the following products are available:
