Factory reset

To run the Reset Factory process to the Flexxible|SUITE Smartworkspaces appliance follow the next steps:

  • From step 1 to step 2 is specified for the factory owner.
  • From step 3 to step 6 the resume.


Step 1

Supermicro

Turn on the server and press F11 for Boot Menu.


HP

Turn on the server and press F11 for Boot Menu.


Dell

Turn on the server and press F11 for Boot Menu.


Step 2

Supermicro

Always there are two 'UEFI OS (P3: Supermicro SSD)' options, select the second one.

HP

Select internal SDCARD in the boot order.


Dell

You should select One-shot UEFI Boot Menu.


Select internal SD in the boot order.


Step 3

Wait while the Windows Preinstallation Environment starts.




Step 4

 Select a Task Sequence to deploy (Primary or Secondary node):

  • Node A is Primary
  • Node B is Secondary

Important! Check deployment version and remember or write it down because you will need it for step 7.



Step 5

 Wait until the deployment finishes. It will reboot the appliance.

Step 6

The second phase ends with the message “Press enter to end the deployment”. When you press enter, the server turns off.


Note

The factory reset process is completed.

Important! When the factory reset process is finished the nodes will be turn off.


Recommendation

If deployment version is 3.2.0.6 or greater, when you start the server again, it is recommended to hide SATADOM in order to prevent involuntary firmware corruption.
